Since 1974, God has been writing a story of faith here in Flamborough. It began with two women praying for their husbands, and it continues today as a house of worship and prayer.
Our story, year by year
-
1974
It began with prayer
Nancy King and Mary Sandwell sought God for their husbands’ salvation, and Don Sandwell was healed of his back at a miracle service. The couples started a home Bible study that drew others in. Soon it outgrew the Sandwell home, moving to the Transport for Christ building and becoming known as the Christian Fellowship Centre, with members from many denominational backgrounds.
